It is so hard to believe that we have completed the third nine-weeks of school this past week. Only nine more weeks remain of this school year. They are packed with many different events and activities such as performances, track meets, recognitions and celebrations.
Everyone worked very hard this year to make sure that our students achieve academically. I am so proud of our HCMS family for keeping a sharp focus on the Eagles' well-being while protecting the instructional time to benefit our students and ensure their success. Testing season is fast approaching with the first FAST (ELA) exam scheduled for May 1st. Our Eagles are ready!
Parents! Please keep logging-in to your Skyward account to monitor your child's grades and academic progress all along. Tutoring and small group interventions will continue throughout the next nine-weeks in order to support our students’ efforts. If you have any concerns, please contact the school.
Due to medical reasons, I will be on leave for the 4th nine weeks to take care of my health. Assistant Principals Mabra and Vereen as well as my leadership team, and HCMS teachers and staff will take good care of our Eagles, as always. I will return to work in June. I appreciate your support and understanding.
I am very proud of our students and have no doubt that they will finish the year strong.

Early Dismissal: If you are planning on picking up your student prior to the end of the school day, we ask that you please pick them up by 3:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and by 2:30pm on Wednesday.
