It is hard to believe that we are only four weeks away from the end of the third nine weeks. Let’s make sure that our Eagles keep their focus on earning successful grades and on having good attendance to avoid any loss in learning.
Good attendance hugely impacts students’ academic success. As students go through their middle school years and become more independent, families play a key role in making sure that their students are at school on time for face to face learning and are attending all their virtual classes for Launched learners. We realize that some absences are unavoidable due to health issues or due to these different times. Research shows that students are less likely to succeed if they are missing 18 or more days over the course of an entire school year.
Absences can add up quickly! In Orange County, five tardies are equal to one absence. A student is considered to be chronically absent if he or she misses just two days every month. Our goal is to ensure that none of our Eagles are running the risk of falling behind academically. Please help us in supporting our learners by maximizing their opportunities to learn.
Thank you for your continued support and for your efforts in working together to provide a quality education for our children!
